The role
Learn Ai is looking for freelance facilitators to support learners in our live AI training workshops. You make sure nobody gets left behind: you help learners who get stuck, coach small groups in breakout rooms and help people get real, useful results from AI tools.
Learn Ai helps individuals and small and medium-sized businesses use AI confidently and responsibly. Our hands-on workshops cover a growing range of practical topics, delivered live and mostly online.

What you’ll do
Before each workshop
- Learn the course materials: slides, worksheets, prompt sheets and the facilitator run sheet
- Test the AI tools used in the course, including any free-tier limits learners might hit
- Run optional tech checks for learners who want help getting set up
- Take part in a dry run with the trainer and producer
During each workshop
- Staff the help room: unblock learners who are stuck on a tool, a prompt or a login, then send them back to the main session
- Visit breakout rooms to keep groups on task and on time
- Coach with questions, not answers: help learners improve their own prompts and outputs rather than doing it for them
- Reinforce responsible AI use: keeping personal and confidential data out of prompts, and checking every output for accuracy
- Answer questions in the chat while the trainer is teaching
- Pick out strong learner examples for the trainer to share
After each workshop
- Join a short team debrief and share where learners struggled
- Suggest improvements to prompts, materials and timings
What you’ll bring

- A practical understanding of how AI helps with everyday work: writing, marketing, research, planning and admin
- Experience teaching, coaching or supporting adults, ideally online
- Patience and warmth with beginners, and the confidence to explain things simply
- Sound judgement on data safety and accuracy: you know why AI output must be checked before it’s used
- Confidence using Zoom, including moving between breakout rooms as a co-host
- A reliable laptop, a stable internet connection with a backup and a quiet workspace
Desirable
- Experience working with small business owners or SMEs
- A background in marketing, business, design or digital skills training
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or Canva
