The role
Learn Ai is looking for a freelance producer to run the technology and logistics behind our live AI training workshops. You own the platform, the learner communications and the clock, so our trainers can focus entirely on teaching and learners never wait on a broken link or a stuck breakout room.
Learn Ai helps individuals and small and medium-sized businesses use AI confidently and responsibly. Our hands-on workshops cover a growing range of practical topics, delivered live and mostly online.

What you’ll do
Before each workshop
- Set up the online session (usually Zoom): co-hosts, waiting room, polls, captions, recording and breakout rooms
- Manage learner communications: registration, joining instructions, course materials and reminders, on the agreed timeline
- Plan breakout groups from learners’ registration answers
- Take part in a dry run with the trainer and facilitators
During each workshop
- Open the session early, admit learners and help them get set up
- Start and stop the recording, and post links, prompts and instructions in the chat at the right moment
- Run polls, timers and breakout rooms so every activity starts and ends on time
- Keep the session to time and give the trainer discreet time warnings
- Watch the chat, answer quick questions and flag anything the trainer needs to see
- Manage screen sharing, and stop any share that exposes confidential information
- Keep the session running smoothly if the trainer’s connection drops
After each workshop
- Send the recording, materials and feedback survey within 24 hours
- Join a short team debrief and log what to improve
- Keep attendance and feedback records up to date
Across the programme
- Maintain production checklists, templates and chat scripts for each course
- Suggest ways to make the online learning experience smoother and more engaging
What you’ll bring
Essential
- Confident hands-on experience hosting or co-hosting live online sessions in Zoom, including breakout rooms, polls and recording
- Calm under pressure: you solve technical problems quietly while a session keeps running
- Excellent organisation, timekeeping and attention to detail
- Clear, friendly written English for chat messages and learner emails
- A reliable laptop, a stable internet connection with a backup (such as mobile data) and a quiet workspace
- Discretion with learner information and an understanding of basic data protection (UK GDPR)
Desirable
- Experience producing webinars, virtual training or online events
- Experience with Microsoft Teams or Google Meet as well as Zoom
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Eventbrite or similar booking tools
- An interest in AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini
- Availability for regular workshops
